All About Me Mrs. Sullivan
Your first assignment of the year is a way of introducing yourself to me and your classmates. It is a CREATIVE project and I will accept it in many forms. I would like you to tell me about yourself in an imaginative way. This may be in the form of a magazine, scrapbook, video, video of your home/bedroom, letter from friends and family, etc. Please come up with a concept by Friday August 27th I will check in with you on that day about what you are thinking about doing. You have free reign to create this project that will tell me about you. Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions you may have. I am here to help!

You will present your project on the day you sign up in the prayer binder and in addition to presenting your project you will also lead the class in prayer that day. The project is worth 70 points.

What I expect to be included:
 Your full name and where it came from. Why are you named what you are? Does it have any unique meaning?
 An explanation of your family. This can include extended family.
 Who/what motivates/inspires you.
 What you love to do in your spare time.
 A list of your favorite things. (free reign to decide what things are most important to put on the list.
 A timeline of your life so far. (include at least 10 events)
 Discuss your hopes and dreams for the future. (this can include a “bucket” list.)
 Your faith foundation/beliefs/struggles in faith.

Great Projects from past years were: Cookbook, locker, Comic book, Sketch book, Newspaper, magazine, scrapbook of photos then writing/letters to explain, Bouquet of flowers.

Think outside the box and let your personality shine through. Have fun with it!

The project will be worth 50 points and your presentation worth 20. You will be graded on presenting with a clear, strong voice; for your ability to make eye contact, for not using ‘like’ or ‘um’ and finally that you do not go over 7 minutes.
• Prior to presentation please lead the class in prayer. Your prayer assignment is to lead the class in a prayer that you discover. You cannot use: The Our Father, Hail Mary, Serenity Prayer, St. Francis or Footprints. There are numerous website that can help you discover such prayers and book in the library as well.
